Campus Correspondent
Paid freelance · Part-time · On your own campus · Now hiring at America's top 25 universities
The Admit Media is a national media brand telling the real stories of how students get into top schools — fast, sharp on-camera interviews with the students walking past you every day, filmed by students, for a national audience.
The role
You're our correspondent on your campus. You stop interesting students and run short on-camera interviews (about 90 seconds each) on your iPhone, using the pro wireless mic kit we ship you. You shoot; our editing team handles everything else. No editing, no posting, no experience required.
What you earn
- Paid per published interview — per piece, on publication
- Performance bonuses on top-performing pieces, on a published bonus schedule shared at onboarding
- A typical shoot day (about 3 hours) produces 10+ interviews — one shoot day a month, scheduled around your classes
What you get beyond the money
- On-screen credit on everything you produce, seen by a national audience
- A real on-camera and journalism portfolio most students graduate without
- First in line for paid full-time and internship roles as we scale
Who we're looking for
Current students, sophomores and juniors preferred. High energy on camera, comfortable approaching strangers, well-networked on campus. Student media, tour guide, or club leadership background is a plus — but a great personality beats a resume. Must be 18+. This is a freelance (independent contractor) role.
